Yep its that time again. After a muscle bulk up Winter, especially the excess but delicious Portuguese Frango chicken, I’m about to embark on a yearly shred challenge and this time I want to compress this into 4 weeks rather than 8 weeks like I did last year and initially in 2022.

I will split this into 80% plant based diet and only chicken for the remaining 20%.
As per usual i will live by my usual 16:8 Intermittent Fasting regime. Incredible health benefits to fasting to burn visceral fat and increase mental strength. When doing the maths…some days will fall into the Keto nutrition zone.
Results wise i want to shred about 3kg and go from 11% back to 9% body fat.
My fitness regime includes 2 hit sessions (about 50 minutes in total combined) and 2 weights sessions everyday with some running thrown in!! With 1 rest day which I normally tie in with continuing flying to my next destination. This is extreme and I’m at high fitness levels so if you are starting out…keep it to 1 cardio session a day. Any shred and high levels of fitness period should be checked with a physician!!
But the most important part of this is mindset – and I always refine and raise my mindset and wellbeing. Anything that makes me uneasy or unhappy…I just remove…SIMPLE!
ME MYSELF AND I – that’s all I see in my accountability mirror – (I learnt this from David Goggins an incredible man who sugar coats nothing at all). In a world of the internet super highway, social media, GPT, mobile phones and every other distraction on our finger tips – either use it to help your life or ditch it.
Any noise from family friends colleagues…just remove the trash from your head if its distracting or having a negative impact. Easier said than done but the more I practise this, the stronger I become.

Living this way isn’t gospel. Its not for everyone…probably only for the few who want to accelerate bettering themselves and 10 years of Relentless Challenge has shown me what can be achieved but its a freakish way to live probably on par with an athletes life. Once your mind and body is strong…everything else becomes clearer and possible to achieve whether its fitness or other life goals.
